Freed by Dr. Phil

Finally, after 30 years,
My grief came to a standstill.
The handcuffs on my emotions,
Were unlocked by Dr. Phil.

He made a very snide remark,
It was like mental dental floss…
He stated positively,
Not every one you lose is a loss.

My Friend, She Dated the Loser

A friend of mine dated a loser,
Who abused her every self-doubt…
Trusting, she pledged commitment,
To a guy who daily skipped out.

He was often late for dinner,
Smelling of strange perfumes…
He lost his cell phone and wallet
Along with honesty in motel rooms.

He was a sexual addict,
Needing validation upon demand…
His discarded women and doctors,
Needed tweezers but never a hand.

All his delusional conquests,
Failed himself most of all…
It’s impossible to rule the world,
When your penis is too small.

Every employee in Carmel by the Sea
Knows who I Am talking about
Not a victim but an ignorant player
You are an ass hole, I shout.

The 60's

There was the 60’s decade,
Assassinations, social chaos and drugs…
Passing out and hitchhiking,
With benevolent Black Panther thugs.

Now I’m in the 60’s once more,
Google search found me still alive…
Sepsis, stones and broken bones,
And the cliff I chose to dive.

The 60’s isn’t a time line
It is now my current age…
 I survived the political conflicts,
Now on the assisted living stage.
