Cats
have little loyalty,
They convert
us into tools.
Freeing them
from the need to hunt,
Now we’re
servants and their fools.
Cats watch
you clean their litter box
While planning
takeovers of the world…
They laugh
while you grab paper towels,
To pick up
every hair ball hurled.
Cats want no
human contact,
Unless you yearn
to be alone…
They wake
you when alarm clocks fail,
So they have privacy in your home.
If you die of
natural causes,
They move
next door…new ploy.
Suicide is
their favorite,
As you
become their favorite toy.
