I’ve always been addicted to beauty,
Be it a
sunset, a soul, or one word
Sometimes it
was a person’s smile,
Or the best
music ever heard.
I started to
buy oil paintings,
Then Asian
object’s d’ art…
Then clever
new inventions,
And this was
just the start.
I filled my
house with goodies,
Then
expanded to three stores.
I still made
a fair profit,
Paying
others to work the floors.
Then
suddenly,
My skeleton
failed,
I no longer
had my health.
My
priorities were just breathing
There was no
value in wealth.
