“Depoe Bay is a quaint drinking village,
With a very big fishing problem!”,
It isn’t true for some residents,
Who swear it isn’t all of them.
The town is full of wildlife,
Countless whales in the bay…
Bears, cubs, Bob Cats, Coyotes
And the drunks are here to stay.
Hunters lurk deep in the woods,
Weapons ready to kill a deer.
There are legions of angry racoons,
Warning you, they are always near.
My Boxer, Conrad, loved whale watching,
Excited for each new spout he spied.
His world was the living room window,
Until the day that he died.
