Some friends
who live in their parent’s house,
Posted new
photos on Facebook today.
So many
memories in their house,
Decades
before the parents passed away.
Some friends
remodeled everything,
The
kitchens, rugs, repaints…
A few
retained everything sacred,
As if their
parents were saints.
Others threw
up a for sale sign,
Selling the
entire family estate;
Posing like
they were successful,
Selling the
guest house on the lake.
My best
friends for years, did nothing.
Seldom
speaking, they often cried.
They
procrastinated any decisions,
While
comprehending their parents died.
