Enamored By The Moon

Any southern window here,

Is the best to admire the moon…

The beams bouncing off the white caps,

Create disco sparkles around the room.

Some weeks the magic never ends,

As if playing with the tide…

The sunrises are epiphanies,

From windows on the Eastern side.

Handicapped

I don’t know what to do,

I don’t know where to go…

It’s hard to find any solid ground,

When you suffer vertigo.

Wal-Mart offers safe parking,

With a handicapped permit…

How can one do shopping

When you always have to sit?

I walked into the entrance,

The greeter today was a talker…

Grabbed a basket near the front door

And used it as a walker.

Oregon Coast Life cycle

Another crab boat sunk today,

One more fisherman lost at sea;

Meanwhile in the moss-covered soil,

A Crocus sprout broke free.

Soon Daffodils will bloom again,

Announcing Winter’s end…

As if nature sends a Telegram

“All’s not well, but just pretend”.
