She’s the one who dropped her sucker,
In the sandbox at preschool,
Teased all through elementary,
And in high school, deemed “Uncool”.
Was she a professional victim?
Cursed with a fatal flaw?
Beaten with an ugly stick?
Or a product of Murphy’s Law.
Her crush was already married,
Their dream, an obsolete scene…
Ignoring all the red flag warnings,
Her wedding ring finger turned green.
She stole from her elderly mother,
Her biography, all complete lies…
Others still deem her a loser,
And will, to the day she dies.
