Majestic Erosion

A watch, a cliff, the moon and I,
Each have a unique face…
We are specks upon a larger speck,
Still invisible from space.

My lifespan is unmeasurable,
Too small since time began…
I, with the oceans and mountains,
Break down to air and sand.

I am the mountain, the ocean
The stormy clouds unfurled…
The rain, the sunrise, beating heart,
I'm nothing, yet I am the world.
